What a lovely hotel. We stayed for a night on our way to Pisa. Quaint, typical Italian style hotel. Our room was nice, cosy and well maintained. Our windows even had green shutters. Location is fantastic - smack bang in the middle of everything. A short walk from the train station, 7 mins from the Duomo. Restaurants, coffee shops, little trattorias all around. Reception team the best. So helpful and super friendly. If you come to Florence and want somewhere authentic Italian - stay here .

The hotel is quite small, intimate and cute. It is located near major streets and landmarks. Also, it is very close to the train station. The staff there were nice. The breakfast is decent. BUT, The annoying things for me that ruined my stay there were that the room was small and the bathroom even smaller. The shower head was broken and the bed sheets were smelling, it gives definitely the vibe of low maintenance and poor quality. They claim they have AC but it was central controlled by them, and turned off during the day even when it was super hot (39 degrees celsius). And, even when the “AC” was on, it was barely working, which made sleeping or even staying in the room super uncomfortable and annoying. We had some intense sweaty nights. The parking is tricky as it is very small space and difficult to enter and you have to leave the car keys to them and inform them if u decide to use ur own car so they re-arrange the cars of the guests there. The water provided in the fridge is not for free. You have to pay that, we were not aware or told of that. Overall, for winter and for a low budget, and if u don’t mind the mentioned above points, this is a decent hotel.
