Hotel is dated, that's expected, but the staff is not friendly or actually cares about your experience, specially in the night shift I asked, can i drink from the faucet? and they said: well.. yes no.. didn't give a clear answer, i don't know if this was a joke from him, as his face was serious, we ended up having to buy bottles, AC broke in the second day, but we stayed on the room out of fear of given a room with bugs as other reviews shown, i ended up woken up to mosquito bites ( i hope) I would recommend looking for other option

We had a very pleasant stay, the room was clean and cosy, the stuff was very friendly. It was better than most 4-star hotels actually. The hotel is close to the station and all the touristic places to visit. We were checking out but didn't have our train until night, the gentleman at the reception offered us to keep our bags so we could still visit the city without having to carry the heavy bags. It was a very kind gesture. Italians are very nice, I will learn italian and be back again.🙂

I had a problem, I lost a charger and I reported at reception, the man was so rude, first he said he did not understand and he did not speak English, then I tried in Spanish or French and I even used my google translator, but the thing is that he did not want to hear me. At the end he answer in English explaining that he couldn't do anything (then why he said he did not speak English at the beginning) After I explained everything he just moved his shoulders as trying to say he did not care. I told him I was not trying to make him pay for it, I just want to report it but he said that nothing can be lost in the hotel and he just keep moving his shoulders as if he could not do anything. I only wanted to listened nothing more. But his attitude was horrible. It changed the atmosphere of that day. If people cannot provide a good customer service, then perhaps they should be trained or work in something else... However, the waitress at the restaurant was so kind... so it was not all bad...talking about service... If I return to Firenze for sure I would stay in another place.... there are so many options and clients don't come back if we received a bad service....keep that in mind
