The hotel is just steps away from the train station and is also next to a small shopping centre. The hotel is clean and the room is of a good size. One small problem is with the position of the TV which is not placed in front of the bed but is on the side. The hotel also has two coin operated washing machines which cost 500 yens for both washing and drying. The reception is located on the 13th floor where you can have a free coffee or tea while enjoying the nice view of the city. While the hotel is located next to the rail tracks, we didn't hear much voice at all at night. The staffs were very friendly but they had a bit of problem when trying to communicate in English.

Hotel is a short walk to a very nice 7 story shopping mall with lots of restaurants. It's just a couple minutes from the big train station. 2 convenience stores about a 10 min walk away. Slept with ear plugs in, just to keep the rumble down from when the trains start up at 5a. Stayed 4 nights, as had a friend that lived nearby. Nice shopping attached to train station as well. German bakery in there.. lots of savory and sweet baked items for train trip or morning breakfast. We did venture out several blocks in the area. But best to take a bus to go see the garden, castle and shrines in the area.

Especially great view from the lobby on the 13th floor. Nice rooms overall. The nearest convenience stores are a couple blocks away. Check further south of here for a hotel with a super close 7/11 if that is important. There are two family marts about 2 blocks-ish nearby.

The railway is right next to the hotel, so you can hear the train running on the railway. Besides, the air conditioner is very noisy, and I already reported it to the front desk. However, they don't want to deal with it and simply said, 'Make sure that you have kept the air conditioner running for more than 30 minutes.' In fact, I have already turned it on for more than 2 hours, but they just don't want to deal with it.
