We spent one week in this hotel and everything was pretty good. The staff is amazing, very good workers. Breakfast very complete. They kept our luggage while we were in the mountains, they cleaned our room everyday and the location is perfect. Despiste of being in Thamel, it is a quiet place to relax at the end of the day.

It's a quiet place but okish if you are travelling solo. The kitchen closes at 9 PM which is a dampner. They wouldn't even clear the plates after 9 PM. Because the capacity of the hotel was below 15, they didn't even put up a buffet for breakfast. It was just a very limited optioned Ala Cart. The decor at the reception is nice and has a good calming feel. But that's about the only good thing about this place. Staff is cordial and helpful and they serve you with a smile and warmth.

Gem of a hotel in thamel. Close to many shopping streets, eating joints and grocery stores. Breakfast included 5-6 items like baked beans, fried potatos, eggs to order, pancakes, and 1-2 indian dishes like Aloo subji, puri, chole, baturate, plus some fruits, oats, etc. The hospitality of staff is 6 stars and always smiling and greeting you. Nepali are very friendly is True.

I booked a suite room and was not like photos. I'm sure it was great in the 70's, but decor inside room is tired and dated. Had to ask for toilet paper and batteries in air conditioning remote didn't work and looked like they had been in there 10yrs. Had cups and teabags, but no kettle. The shower nozzle pointed straight out and could not be adjusted to point down, so had to shower holding the nozzle. Certainly not what I would expect for the price. Clearly no attention paid to rooms, everything is put towards making reception look amazing to cover up the poor room state. Breakfast was minimal and cold because no covers put on top of hot items. Checked out after less than 24hrs and still had to pay for two extra days. My advice - stay somewhere else. There are better places that are cheaper.
