Extremely friendly staff, but we had a room (5) right to the entrance and it was always so loud when people stepped on the boat, always woke me up. The Service is not thought through, for e.g if you accidentally lock yourself out at night. That’s sucks. Only small trash can in the bathroom and not enough towels, no soap as well. Beds were really comfortable tho.

Amazing hotel. Breakfast was good, and the staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are great for its size and price. Location was central and relatively close to the center of the city and also the central station. We could walk there everyday

Your trip begins when you arrive at the Oosterdok, your quest for Gandalf is over. The ship greets you and you will be bouyed by it's charm. I enjoyed my stay immensely and found the reasonable walk time into the central part of Amsterdam city useful, as you build up steam for your day. I will stay again, such was my happy experience.
