We loved our stay! The hotel was simple but has everything that we need and looks clean. There's also good restaurants around, the Sacre-Creur is 5 minutes walking and it's a good location.

My sisters and I stayed at this hotel a week ago. One evening my sister went to close the curtains and the rod which was attached to the ceiling fell missing my sister's head. We alerted management and they sent their manager to the room to fix it. The individual was not able to do so we were assured at the time that it was an accident and we would not be billed. Today we received an invoice for $ 200 in damages. Needless to say we are shocked and disappointed. The management claims that the rod was bolted securely to the ceiling. This hotel in an older establishment even though the initial installation might have seem secured over time things do loosen. Not to mention that a lot of clients have stayed in that room. It is unfortunate that my Sister was the one to make it fall but I hardly think that is fair to blame us and levy the bill on us. As I said this hotel is dated everything from the decorum to the paint in the rooms. We acknowledge our wrong by notifying them to which I reiterate we were told we weren't responsible. Seriously did you think of the consequence if the rod landed and hurt my Sister the damage would be far more than that old $ 200 curtain rod. My family isnt the malicious type we had 2 nights in your hotel we hardly spent any time in the room. This was an accident an should be forgiven it could of happened to anyone.

Was an OK room, clean, tidy, curtains were falling down abit, long hairs under the duvet, finding bedbugs and being bitten twice after day 2 of 4, was a pretty standard hotel, could hear everything from other rooms, breakfast was very over priced for what it was 15€. Day hotel staff pleasant, lone night worker, built himself a bed on the breakfast tables and slept, so that was a security issue given the area it was in, front door was always unlocked so anyone really could come and go. We asked for basic stuff for the room and it was clear they didn't like that, but their was shops across the road and on the street and not bad priced either. It was OK for the few days we were their and it was what it was, just a bed in a room to sleep. They do sting you with small extra charges when you have made a reservation paid and turn up, but we guess it was because we were english from the uk and another way to get a bit more out of you late at night. Always take photos before and after you leave so they can't say you left a room in bad shape, glad we did, but some don't, but over all was OK.
