This is a lovely location, rather unique and placed in a beautiful part of Paris. I so wanted to fall in love with the hotel and totally understood there would not be a view for example. However, the rooms are tired and dated, the bed was well past it's best and deeply uncomfortable. We felt we were an inconvenience to the staff and, in the end, cut our holiday short rather than return there for an additional night. It is a unique and historic hotel in need of a bit of TLC. In terms of accessibility, it isn't. There are stairs up to a small lift.

We stayed there for 4 nights in a 3 bedroom room with a small child. There is no access for pushchair or wheelchair. The is a small elevator but it's at the very end of the ground floor after climbing a lot of stares. Interior is okay, but in the rooms too outdated. There was only one truly polite and friendly lady on the desk who actually interacted with us and that's why I've added a star. The other star (2 stars overall) is for location and the black cat. You can definitely feel the potential of the hotel but sadly it's being left not very well maintained because it will make money anyway. Overall I would not recommend this place even though the location is spot on unless you have a very limited budget and don't care where you're staying.

The hotel is so quaint and historic situated in a beautiful shopping complex in the heart of a busy area but you wouldn’t know it as the hotel itself is so quiet! The staff were all very friendly and all spoke English which made it a lot easier. The buffet breakfast was only €10 each and was simple but delicious. The room was clean and beautiful. There is not an iron or kettle in the room but you can ask for either at reception and the staff were very accommodating about providing an iron for us. The main street has loads of restaurants including a KFC, Mcdonald’s and a Starbucks. Overall a beautiful little boutique hotel in a fantastic location.

This visit was such a shame, I wanted to fall in love with this quaint looking hotel. Sadly, the decor was well past it's time, which I can forgive, but the beds/mattresses were a little thicker than cardboard, which I simply cannot. Couldn't sleep because of being so uncomfortable. Staff weren't very helpful/pleasant... we felt more of an inconvenience than a paying guest. This place needs massive investment. Location is fabulous.

It was our first time in Paris, and we had a great time at the hotel. The staff helped us a lot and were so polite, it made us feel safe with all the information provided; even considering that we speak native Spanish and poor English. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom a bit small, but enough for the price and space we had. The location of the hotel is perfect. Quiet place but also, with a lot of things to do around the corner. It was really easy to get to the best spots of the city from there, walking or by metro. We would definitely be back. A plus: the beautiful black cat walking around
