The location is brilliant . Plenty of options for bars and restaurants. The Bastille metro stop has a few lines so you have a lot of options to get around Paris easily. The street was very quiet considering it's in a busy area and off a main street. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. Bathroom was a good size. WiFi connection 10/10 to stream / work. Service was 10/10 - staff were very friendly and happy to recommend places and book taxis etc.

If you have choice please don't stay here. I had lower my expectation before coming to the hotel after seeing the reviews. The room is actually ok to me. But most annoying thing is the noise! The noise on the streets never stop! I didn't able to sleep because being disturbed by noise Al the time. Do something with sound proof.

This "hotel" is a scam. When I arrived they gave a physical key and said that it had to be given back to reception if we wanted to leave the room, which I thought was very strange and little shady. She said that we could use the elevator but the elevator was so small that if we were to use it we could only fit the bags inside. When we went up to the room the hallway was completely dark and inside the room was so cramped that you could barely stretch your arms out. The toilet was running and the shower was completely covered in mold. The bed sheets also had stains on them. When I complained to the receptionist she said that there was nothing that she could do and then I asked for refund. She proceeded to call her boss who screamed at her on the phone and she told us that because the room had been "used" that she couldn't give a refund for that night but would refund the other two nights and said that we should expect it that night or the day after. When the refund wasn't given two days later I called and talked to someone who said that she was the manager and that a refund couldn't be given at all. I've stayed at nicer hostels than this hotel and I am just shocked at the lack of honesty and care. This place does not look like the pictures and it is not worth your time, trouble, or money.
