recently stayed at Hotel Dress Code in Paris, situated perfectly between Place de la Madeleine and Place de l'Opéra. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was a haven of comfort, equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. But the standout feature was undoubtedly the bed - truly fantastic, offering a restful night's sleep. What's more, its central location means you're close to almost everything, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Paris!

We are in debt to Dress Code for finding us rooms at short notice/in an emergency at midnight after difficulty with planned accom. The staff were friendly and kind: and frankly saved our couple of day transit stop in Paris. Rooms are smallish - but this is central Paris. The beds were divine and I had one of the best nights rest - not bad considering how tense the night was. To the night attendant who looked after us - you are fantastic.

I know a few people gave it some terrible reviews recently. Unfortunately, I would have to somewhat agree with them. I don’t usually like giving out poor ratings. It’s definitely not a 5 star hotel but it more of a 3.5 star hotel. There are definitely issues with the sound proofing. No way that the rooms are sound proofed. You’re surely going to hear the people in the room above you. You’re definitely going to hear other hotel guests in the hallway. You’re going to hear the neighboring hotel guests as well. So as far as the advertising of soundproofing, it for sure is 100% NOT soundproofed. The floors are hard surfaced. That’s part of the problem for sure. You’re going to hear hotel guests in the room above u walking all day and night. Hopefully you’re ok with that? Ha ha. I didn’t think so…

Great location, you can walk anywhere! I didn’t use the metro, just Uber a couple of times. But you can take nice walks from here. Have restaurants, bars and stores close by. Even a Carrefour (supermarket) next door. The hotel is very nice. Bright and clean. The room was comfortable, we spent 4 nights and had a great time. And the staff is very nice and friendly.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Dress Code four times in the last year (more than 20 nights in total). It offers an excellent location for exploring Paris on foot or by metro. Rooms are extremely well designed with luxurious finishings. Beds are comfortable with nice linens, showers have great water pressure and hot water, and rooms are quiet. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
