Our stay at Hotel Icone was fantastic. We were able to check in early and our room had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. When our next lodging location cancelled on us abruptly, Wills was able to help us rebook at Hotel Icone. Truly impressive service and all staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone. Excellent help from Wills!!

We stayed here in June 2022: first, I didn't want to write a bad review, but now I think, well, it's better to read a bad review than to be fooled, right? We booked the room via booking and it said that the room has soundproofing (you could hear literally anything from the neighbouring room as if they were right next to you) + on the photos the room (Superior Double or Twin Room) looked much bigger than the one we got on our arrival. I went to see the night receptionist and asked him to get the room on the photo (bigger one), however, he told me that that room is for more people and that every hotel in Paris does that - post a nicer and false picture to attract customers. The following day, we told them we wanted to move from the hotel, which we did, however, they told us that the manager is on holiday and they don't think we will get the rest of our money (for the nights we wouldn't stay in the hotel) back - we risked that as part of our trip to Paris was already destroyed and we didn't want the rest of it to be destroyed as well. Eventually, we got that money back (only for the nights we didn't stay there), but it was very uncomfortable not knowing if it's returned, or not. Normally, I would rate this hotel 2 stars, but false advertisement and lack of hospitality make it 1 star.

Very nice, friendly and accommodating staff. The gentleman at the front desk (Wills) gave us an earlier check-in. We also received a better room. Unfortunately, the walls are not very insulated and you can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms.

I booked this hotel through booking. When we got there we were ‘upgraded to a bigger room’ which I don’t know if it’s just a line to try and impress us because I don’t see how the room could be much smaller. The room itself was fine clean enough but really could do with renovation. When we booked, it said included breakfast, what it didn’t say was that breakfast isn’t on at the weekend. Additionally on booking it stated that all taxes and fees were included but then asked us to pay the city tax on check out. The location is great lots of restaurant close by and in short walking distance to the Louvre and the metro. Overall the location was great but I’m just not really sure about the value for money.
