Disappointed in this hotel. The pictures are the ultimate form of cat fishing. When I arrived and was showed my room is was directly across from the receptionist, that was the first red flag. Entering the room while it looks pretty from a distance once you get a little closer you see all the imperfections. The stains on the walls was the first thing I noticed. Still trying to be upbeat i took a tour, the bed sheets has small stains , the bathroom I personally feel like wasn't cleaned the best. It had a strange smell. The towel warmer rack was filled with so much dust, so no point in putting you clean towels on a dusty rack. The toilet bowl was so close to the wall it wasn't comfortable while using it. In the room I had the ac barely pushed put any air, it was very uncomfortable. And every 4-5 minutes a strange buzzing noise keeps happening so that was extremely annoying when trying to sleep on an uncomfortable bed. Just very disappointed because the pictures look amazing.

What a find!! This small boutique hotel is just perfect if you're travelling to Paris. Great location and walking distance to the Louvre and shopping districts. Surrounded by so many Asian restaurants which are fantastic. The rooms and bathrooms are larger in size than other hotels in Paris. The decor is modern and the hotel is clean. Can't wait to return! Thanks to all the staff for making us feel welcome! Francesca

My wife and I (and our 1-year old son) stayed here for a 3-night trip to Paris in March 2023. Among the MANY hotel options in Paris, I somehow stumbled upon this one, and I'm so glad I did. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Hotel Louvre Richelieu. The room is small, but all hotel rooms are small in Paris, and we were able to have enough room for our purposes, even with a 1-year old in a pack-and-play crib. The location is wonderful; it took us around 5 minutes to walk to the Louvre, and of course it's surrounded on all sides by restaurants and shops. Super close to Rivoli, too, which is a street we enjoyed walking down. Finally, the service at the hotel was great. Every person we met on the staff was as friendly and hospitable as we could ask for. Our little family had a wonderful long weekend in Paris, and our stay at the Hotel Louvre Richelieu was a big factor in our enjoyment! Thank you!

Pros: A lovely little boutique hotel with a hint of theater, very kind and helpful staff, and a comfortable bed- all in an excellent location. Very easy check in and out. I love the chat options! Cons: I realize this is a problem in many old buildings, but to clarify my ranking: 4/5 on the room, we loved it and didn’t mind the stairs a bit. 2/5 on bathroom. We had some serious ventilation issues that meant for mold, which we have some allergy issues with. The very friendly staff helped with some of it, but it cropped up again in a day or so. Overall: A lovely little hotel in need of someone detail oriented for a little extra polish. (I haven’t seen similar issues in other reviews, so perhaps it was a localized to our room issue?)

I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Louvre Richelieu! I booked a three-person room in October, and the room was a good size compared to some other hotels in Paris. The location was great (walking distance to the Louvre and many great cafes and restaurants). The rooms were comfy and clean, and the concierges were always so friendly. We did have an issue here and there (shower broke at one point), but our concerns were always addressed promptly. The staff even went above and beyond for us when we needed a favor after checking out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris! Make sure you book early to get a good deal as well.
