We just spent the weekend in Hotel Mathis. We had our 5 month old with us on his first trip. The hotel kindly provided a cot for him to sleep in and were nothing but fantastic when helping us deal with him along with packing away our stroller everyday. The hotel itself is in an ideal location for getting all the tourist attractions within walking distance and the metro is a 1min walk away. We could not recommend the hotel anymore, it was just fabulous. The staff were absolutely excellent and so helpful. We would recommend to anyone travelling with children. Make sure to try the coffee shop too!

Hotel Mathis is now one of my favourites in Paris. Fair price (in the current market), lovely people at reception who will go above and beyond to help their guests, modern rooms with plenty of light.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the staff and service were incredible. Nice comfy room. Everyone at the front desk was super lovely and helpful. Close to the metro stop that was really easy to get around Paris. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Mathis!

Horrible place, don't waste your time. They claimed they upgraded us but it was actually a much older dilapidated room. They said it was an upgrade because it was slightly larger and had a coffee machine... Mold was growing in the walls and the bathroom was gross and shower drain didn't work properly. Don't waste your time booking here, go elsewhere much better options for the same price. Also make sure to take a photo of your minibar when you check out, these thieves fraudulently charged me 20 EUR for a supposedly drink we took which we definitely didnt.
