Hôtel Meslay République

During my stay at this hotel, I was genuinely captivated by its exceptional qualities. The ambiance was delightful, and the immaculate cleanliness and supreme comfort truly made it an outstanding choice for any traveler. Moreover, the hotel's strategic location, providing easy access to various metro stations connecting to every corner of Paris, was a huge plus. One of the standout advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the vibrant Place de la République, surrounded by a plethora of restaurants offering delectable dining options. This lively atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Additionally, the surrounding neighborhood's sense of safety, both day and night, provided me with great peace of mind. In summary, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant and convenient stay in the heart of Paris. I am absolutely certain that I will choose to return to this remarkable hotel on all my future visits to this enchanting city. We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed for 6 days and it was fantastic. We had room 602 which is one of the Superior double rooms and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a cute little double balcony! We loved having the balcony and slept with our widows open most night's, so Parisian! Another great surprise was to find we had a tub! This is great for anyone that's a bit bigger as I had read many reviews that said Paris showers were very tight and narrow. All the pictures we saw online were a stand up shower so the tub was a big surprise! The room was spacious but I will say there isn't a lot of room to unpack. We used the couch as an area to keep our clothes. The room was very rustic which we enjoyed. Another huge perk about this Hotel is that they have an elevator! You'll read a lot of people complaining about not having that at other hotels. They also have this very pretty winding staircase. It's nicer to look at versus use in my opinion. Lol. I got dizzy going down from the 6th floor to the bottom. The staff were all very nice and attentive. They speak some English, but as with anywhere in Paris, it'll help if you speak a little French. One thing we found a bit different is that you have to hand the front desk your room card whenever you leave. This wasn't a problem for us but some people may not like it. There is always someone on staff to let you in and out though so if you're a late nighter don't let this concern you. The location is fairly quiet at night and very convenient to the metro which is only about a 3 walk. There are numerous cafés within a 10 minute walk and a few bars as well. We never had the breakfast onsite so I can't give a review about that. We loved waking up in the morning and walking to a café to have our coffee and breakfast outside. My overall review is that this place is fantastic. I would recommend this superior double to anyone who wants a room with plenty of space. I don't think all the superior doubles have the balcony so if that's something you really want then I'd call to ask them.
