Unfortunately i cannot recommend this hotel to anyone due to the lack of respect which i have been treated here. Be aware before you book a room here. Obviously by mistake i have double booked a room (twice under my name), but the owner refused to cancel the second room and made me pay in full both rooms although he admitted the mestake. This is not an honest way to manage a hotel, neither to treat their guests. I would not recommend anyone this thus actually nice and very well located hotel. Very unfortunate and unpleasant experience.

My stay at this hotel was marked by the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. The hotel is conveniently situated, being close to the city center and within reasonable proximity to various attractions. Additionally, there's a metro station just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making transportation quite convenient. One drawback to note is the possibility of a nearby metro track, which might lead to occasional noise disturbances. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and the rooms were well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. While the staff and location were highlights, there's room for improvement in terms of hygiene and maintenance. Some showers were reported to be malfunctioning, and signs of wear and tear, such as limescale on faucets and showers, were evident. In summary, this hotel provides a pleasant stay thanks to its welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. The proximity to key city areas and accessible transportation options are definite pluses. However, addressing maintenance issues and enhancing hygiene practices could further elevate the overall guest experience.

My recent stay at Hôtel Montholon was an average experience. The hotel offers affordable rates, but you get what you pay for. I paid for the smallest room and found it to be cramped, with minimal space to move around. The elevator is also very small and can only fit two people without luggage, which can be inconvenient during peak hours. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room could be improved, as I noticed some dust and dirt in certain areas. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and hospitable. They were always available to answer any questions. However, the housekeepers cannot speak English, which made communication difficult at times. The hotel's location is convenient, with two metro stations (Cadet and Poissonniere) located nearby, making it easy to explore the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, which was convenient for meals and snacks. However, the neighborhood is not the safest, and I was tailed by pickpockets while shopping in a nearby supermarket. In conclusion, Hôtel Montholon is an average accommodation option in Paris. While it offers affordable rates and a convenient location, there are some drawbacks to consider, such as the small elevator and cramped rooms. The friendly front desk staff and proximity to local amenities are positives, but the cleanliness of the room and safety of the neighborhood could be improved.

Simple but enough I'd say. Breakfast decent - although there could be a better fruit choice option. Bad sound isolation and no AC available. Room is pretty much tidy - but we don't have much to complain about in there generally. Decent and potent shower, good room cleaning service and very pleasant staff (specially the elder senior on reception) made a very positive impression about this place - so maybe one day we will stay again there.
