Great location and general good value for money- we are talking about 2 star hotel here. Booked it for 1 night only as all I needed was clean bed and hot water. Booked twin beds and got double bed but it was quite big so that wasn't a massive issue, the bed was very comfy had to say- like hard ones. The male receptionist around 40 was quite not happy with job he does but other 2 younger fellas at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The outside of the hotel might be bit scary at night so wouldn't recommend for single traveller. I didn't book breakfast but there is amazing bakery just next door so great option at the same price. Overall good place for short stay for people who are looking for sleep only. Exactly 2 stars hotel.

The room I got was smaller than small... not seen such a small room in a hotel before. I thought I was a giant in a make believe room. The room was clean and recently renovated and everything in it worked. I could tolerate the small bed and no area to move around but the big problem was the the wash room which was not even usable (see pics). If you are not renting a car in Paris... this is most ideal location and exactly opposite the biggest bus/train station. Service was courteous and polite. Would I rent a room here again? Only if I get to see it first and approve. Its clean and quiet as long as you are on the 4th through the 8th floor. Street is full of unsavory characters but area is still considered safe because its such a busy area all hours of the day. Walkability index is 10 and so is availability of all sorts of food and drinks close by. All other sort of things are also available for your entertainment.

I don't want to give any star. I booked a room with a broken door, and then they changed a very small and dirty room with a broken bathroom that wouldn't be turned off. I went to the person in charge and he didn't give me any solution, instead of telling me: You get what you paid. I have a question: Why did they ask for my bank card when I checked in? It has never happen to me. He told me it was to be sure that i won’t break any things in the room... And they give me a broken room? ...

Really bad experience. I was told past 1am when I reached hotel that it’s fully booked. Waited for almost 45 mins at the reception at night and that too after expedia called them when I complained to them as I booked via Expedia. They were helpful. Hotel room felt like old school college dorm room. Location is good but hotel was like a storeroom when you enter. Hated my experience.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel for 4 nights. All of the staff members I met were so friendly and helpful. My room was clean and warm and surprisingly quiet considering it’s opposite Gare du Nord. I’m surprised to read the negative reviews as my experience was the opposite. Book with an open mind and enjoy the experience of a quirky hotel in Paris 😊
