Hunter’s country house is a hidden gem tucked away within the Forrests of Plettenberg Bay. The hotel is beautiful, has spacious and luxurious rooms and has 3 different restaurants on site. On top there is a large pool, gym and a children’s play area. Personnel is very attentive and provides the best service. Anything we needed was taken care of. We would recommend anyone to stay here when you come to Plettenberg.

We visited the restaurant for dinner but was also to do just view one of the more expensive rooms because we know the chef. The 3 course meal was one of the best we've had. We were a party of 7. Desert was the only dish thar that I can't rave about. Should have taken either the trio of sorbet or the chocolate ( something or other).

This place is magical, everything about it is very nice. Especially all the small details that they do, like putting a lovely note every night, turning on the heaters to warm up the room for you, and putting near your bed chocolate or something sweet. We will definitely would love to come back again.

Incredible resort. Not far from Plettenberg Bay we found ourselves immersed in a world away from the city. A parenthesis of serenity and peace. Welcomed very well by the super friendly and knowledgeable staff, we felt pampered and loved right from the start. Very spacious and cozy room with everything you need to relax. Upon arrival a good bottle of white wine to welcome us as well as a handwritten letter from the staff. In the evening while you are at dinner they come by to rearrange your bed, leave a treat and a hot water boulle to warm your feet with. As well as the classic good night note. We tried two of the three restaurants definitely good and with several focused choices. Interesting wine list with many South African choices of course. Breakfast buffet and a la carte. Thank you very much We will be back Definitely
