We stayed in a refurbished room which was comfortable and spacious with a seating area for other family/friends to stop by and visit. We experienced an exceptionally friendly staff, an impeccably clean property and a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet. We really were made to feel genuinely welcomed. This Hyatt Place runs like a well oiled machine.

Definitely not worth the money! Room had random red stains, I suspect blood. One was on the "living room" wall and the other was on the couch cushion. The bathroom sink is loud and is right by the beds in the double room. No way to stay quiet during a midnight potty break. Pillows seem really comfy at first but go totally flat after a short while. Constantly adjusting my pillow situation throughout the night. The ceilings are low and the bathroom is dingy but pretty clean. No bags in the trash cans, which seemed a little gross if you have used tissues to throw away. The staff were all very nice and the breakfast was pretty decent. Parking wasn't awful and it's a very short drive to nearby entertainment. For the amount we paid for the night, we'd have preferred Embassy Suites at a similar rate.

It's situated in a good location, and Domain is not far from here. A few issues I had during my stay - 1. There are no water bottles provided in the rooms. You either have to buy water or have a Hyatt membership. This is a first time I'm seeing a hotel room not providing water bottle. But friends told me that's how it is in most of Texas, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 2. No toilet seat covers in the bathroom! Again, another Texas thing, I guess. The office I was visiting also didn't have them. 3. AC in the room was too loud and disrupted my sleep every night. Except for these, my stay here was alright. They do provide a good selection of complimentary breakfast options. I hear there's an in-house fitness center too, though I didn't use that.

The rooms are extremely outdated and just old furniture(cool for 30 seconds to feel like your back in 1995). They look nothing like the photos. Better off staying at a motel lol. Don’t let their sign in the lobby fool you about renovations, these rooms are outdated by 20 years now can’t believe Hyatt allows franchise’s to do this. It is for sure a walk to domain if you’re active lifestyle no problem. But they’re other places better and more affordable at the Domain.

The staff at this location was friendly and the lobby area was ok, but the room was horrible. They are currently under renovations and several times during my stay they blocked access to basic necessities -- for instance, when I arrived they had the water shut off for several hours, the next day the elevators where disabled and one of the exits was blocked. I was given a first floor room even though I requested an upper floor (and booked over 8 weeks in advance), so the noise in my room was horrible (from the renovation during the day and from the parking lot at night). The room itself was extremely dated and sized for a Lilliputian. The sofa was worn out (and only about 8 inches off the ground). The refrigerator didn't work at all. The desk chair was broken and almost flipped over when I sat down. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny (the shower stall was less than 2 feet wide) and looked like it had last been updated in the 1970s. The only way to turn on the shower was to step fully into it, so you get doused in ice-cold water every single time. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, but somehow still didn't drown out the outside noise. But the worst by far was the mattress -- it was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life. I usually like a firm mattress, but this one might as well have been made of plywood. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all and did not enjoy a single moment of my stay. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!
