This hotel is very impressive. Overall, most staff in every department are sincere and helpful. Guess they have a leader with excellent management skills. The location is superb and right besides a large shopping mall that offers most needs of visitors. However, it is hard to find the instructions of how to go to the hotel. Here is the tips: Get out of the Exit 1 in Shanghai subway Jinshajiang Road Station (金沙江路站), and go right into the B2/F of the shopping mall, Global Harbor. Take the escalator up 2 floors to L1. Right across the Apple Store is a small door (besides Volvo showroom) to go into the hotel. Highly recommed the Chinese restaurant on 45/F. I wanted a noodle soup and it was not on the menu. The staff and the manager helped me to talk to the Chief. The result was a Michelin 3-star noodle soup. Stunning !!!

Location: Great location if you want to shop, relax, and not want to go far. The rooms: Clean and the halls smell fresh every morning. I always love a great bathroom setup and the tub and shower separation is great. The Bose speaker in the room is also a added perk to take a bath listening to music Shopping: The mall underneath the hotel is amazing and really large! I walked for hours and there are all types of shops from Muji for stationary to Uniqlo for clothes to jewelry stories and other brands. Relaxing: Not sure if it requires status but the top floor lounge is nice and relaxing! It’s got a really great view and comfortable settings

Didn't stay in the rooms but had bad experiences at the overpriced buffet restaurant. None of my three credit cards worked, they insisted I pay cash, and the card transaction went through anyway. Combined with too-long wait for any of the featured items, the food selection was below the standard for the price.
