I stayed solo at the hotel for 8 nights. Location is perfect for first time travellers. Get a bus ticket at the airport and take bus 6015 to reach the hotel doorstep. (As I struggled for a bit on this) Just want to let travellers know that to board the same bus to return back to the airport, you will need to pay 17,000won (adult price) in cash to the bus captain instead. There is no need to get a bus ticket from a ticketing office. Prepare the cash in advance as there is no change given. Hotel location is right in Myeongdong and very convenient for shoppers. Room service was superb, room was clean and they have 2 complimentary bottles of water every day. The only issue I have with the room is the pillow. I put 3 pillows underneath and it’s still way too soft for my neck. I had to roll up towels underneath instead. Otherwise, it’s a real good stay.

Very good location convenient, clean nice hotel. Though service needs improve or maybe this is well accepted in Korean service style. As a Accor Plus member, I am not so satisfied with the stay. TV only 2 English speaking channels, you don’t serve only Korean people in IBIS, no?

Amazing location - 1.5 hours away from airport , using the airport public bus - arrived from Auckland 22 degrees to -9 is a shock to the body Hotel is located near the plaza , night markets , food and shopping. Great night views - only issue I had was with my Keiko Taxi app, but hotel staff always ordered a Taxi for me Recommended value for money

Seoul - South Korea It was a pretty long flight, having to take plane from Melbourne to Sydney, wait for about three hours before catching connecting flight to Seoul. Great to escape the hot and humid weather at Melbourne and landed at -10 degree! We have checked into Ibis Myeongdong, and it’s convenient located near train station and walking distance to Myeongdong popular street market with lots of food stalls and surrounded by great shopping stores Room - We would say it’s good, neat and clean. Only setback is not much space to put two medium size luggages. Service - Friendly staff over the counter. We did laundry but as there is only one washer and one dryer, we got to take turn. The hotel staff is happy to change smaller notes for payment. Yes, can’t pay using credit card. Overall, is a good hotel and room rates not on the high side. So worth recommending.
