It was our fault for not looking at the pictures, but we did not expect that there would be a deconstructed bathroom in our room. There is no bathroom, rather the shower is in your room, with the wash basin and toilet separate. The shower has a hole as a handle which causes water to fall out of the shower stall and makes the floor wet. In addition to this, the housekeeping service is unfortunately below average. Our beds were not properly made, our shower body wash not filled, and our bathmat was taken away without any replacement. The beds were not comfortable, and the pillows were quite thin. There is no place to keep your clothes except a small pole with 4 hangers on it. We only had a small stool next to the table. I have stayed in much better Ibis budgets before, was thoroughly disappointed with this. The room gave more of a hostel feel than a hotel room. Granted Ibis budget is a budget hotel, but this was another level. Only pros were the free parking which had easy access to the hotel, and the cleanliness of the shower - although I’d have preferred if this was in an actual bathroom rather than right next to my bed. The location was relatively quiet, but you do require a car to get around. Overall I was quite disappointed. I booked this ibis budget because I had a fantastic experience in Leicester. Will not be coming back here.

Hotel had free parking which was good, but it was too long a walk to the shopping centres so I had to get taxis. The room was very basic, the sink is in the room, the shower is a tiny cube room and the toilet is very small in a separate room (with a door that doesn’t lock). There is no kettle in the room, but there is a tv. My issue was the room was too cold, despite the ‘heating’ being on all night at the max temperature. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were lovely, but for an extra £10 I could have stayed somewhere else much more comfortable.

Seeing the reviews here, I gotta say it wasnt really all that bad. The rooms are pretty small, but clean and beds are comfortable, although the double bed could be bigger. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient. You’re pretty much getting what you see in the pictures, a solid budget hotel. The only thing I really didnt like was how cold the whole place was. The dinning area was cold, the halls were freezing but the room was also really really cold, the heating didnt work at all.
