I'm very satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff esp the receptionists. Thank you for allowing us to store our luggage for a few days. This hotel is well located and just around 5 min walk away from the Myeongdong night market. There is also a convenience store next to the hotel so it's really convenient. The big Daiso and halal restaurants are also nearby. Bus stops and metro are within walking distance. We were also provided with ear plugs because of the noise due to the on going constructions outside, that was thoughtful! Plus point for me was the fact that our toilet has a bidet, such a lifesaver! Although the room was quite small as well as the shower and toilet but it was alright. Just that the towels provided had some stains and they smelled like bleach. But overall we had a good stay!

Staff service is awesome. Yes, Ibis is a budget hotel so don't go expecting 5 star service. They do try. Gym probably needs an upgrade? There's only 3 machines but works for me. All in all I am happy with my stay and how they helped us.

Except for the location, everything sucks. There is a nearby construction site and although the hotel can't do much about the construction, the hotel could have raised some sound barriers on their end to reduce the noise. Instead what you get are two ear plugs (the sight of which confused me at first glance but within minutes you see the futility of it). Rooms were tiny, which is an offence to tiny as it was cramped as an aircraft toilet cubicle.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, it was a fairly new hotel close to Myeongdong and Chummu Road, 5 min to subway and airport express station. The hotel room is not that spacious but it is okay for solo travelers like myself. Bedding is excellent, room facilities are basic but sufficient. Rooftop outdoor area is a must-visit, it has a view of the city and the famous Namsan Tower. I am impressed by the hot water shower in the room, very strong current and hot water even I am staying on 19th floor, it is a bless after a whole day out in the -7c city. Overall very good and will stay again.
