The hotel experience was marred by extremely poor in-room internet, hindering connectivity. Additionally, the TV channels were exclusively in Thai, limiting entertainment options for non-local guests. Improvement in these aspects is essential for a more satisfying stay.

Cheap hotel rooms are clean so far I can see in one night.is ok for a short stày I would not stay longer the 2 days.location is too far from every active locations. You have to drive with a taxi and this takes forever with the train is cheaper and way quicker short sample taxi to downtown Bangkok 400 bath q hour drive train 50bath 20 min drive.

Ibis Sukhumvit 50 is indeed affordable, but it's located far from the BTS skytrain and in an extremely unsuitable area. The road in front of the hotel is very narrow yet it's a route for large trucks, leading to a lot of traffic and congestion. It's also far from the main road, making it difficult and risky to walk along the street due to the potential danger of traffic accidents. There's nothing of interest around the hotel. Therefore, if you're a tourist, it would be better to stay at IBIS Phra Khanong instead. It's closer to the skytrain and the surrounding area is much nicer, with better safety, restaurants, and convenience stores. Furthermore, parking is very hard to find, even during the daytime, and there's no staff available to assist.

I recently stayed at the ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 50 as a solo traveler, and I'd like to share my experience. Overall, my stay had both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the room I stayed in was quiet, good, and clean. However, there were several aspects of my stay that I found to be less than satisfactory. Firstly, the hotel's location was a bit of a downside for me. It's situated deep into a street and quite far from the On Nut BTS station (20 mins walk). This made it less convenient for accessing public transportation, particularly for tourists who may want to explore the city easily. Additionally, the hotel's distance from the bustling city might not be ideal for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the vibrant urban atmosphere of Bangkok. While the tuktuk service to the BTS station was a nice gesture, the unreliable Wi-Fi was a major inconvenience. In today's connected world, having a consistent and functional internet connection is crucial for travelers. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my stay. The fact that the reception lady at night was rude and unhelpful further compounded my frustration, especially since it seemed that she was the only staff member available. The lighting in the room was another issue for me. The dim lighting made the room feel a bit gloomy, and the lobby's darkness contributed to a somewhat unwelcoming ambiance. Additionally, the limited breakfast menu was a letdown, as having a variety of breakfast options can greatly enhance a guest's experience. In conclusion, while the ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 50 offered clean rooms and convenient parking, the drawbacks in terms of location, Wi-Fi, staff attitude, and amenities like the pool and breakfast menu impacted my overall stay negatively.
