Clean, air con worked well. Loud at all times of the day and night, bring earplugs or you won’t sleep. Location is amazing

Our experience was a nightmare. Fabio (the administrator) is a criminal. They physically removed our things from the room after our first night, even though we had a reservation for two nights. They left us without a place to stay and sent me a message via Whatsapp telling me that my luggage was at another location. All our valuables were just thrown at a random place. Fabio claims that the booking agency cancelled the reservation, and yet he has refused on multiple occasions to refund our money. The booking agency has stated that when they reach out Fabio claims he does not speak English, which I can confirm is not true. He does speak English, he's just a terrible human being. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel or lodging. I will also add that the room we stayed in (before being thrown out) was awful. It was not what we had reserved. Turns out, there is no guarantee that you will stay at L'Imperiale when you reserve there. The hotel was overbooked and they put us in another facility, which looked NOTHING like the room we had reserved and was downright terrible. In addition, Fabio made us walk for 10 minutes with our luggage in order to get there. When we did, neither the safe, the refrigerator nor the hot water worked. This was after waiting for hours before checking in, because Fabio was not available when we arrived. Note that you also have to accommodate your vacation to Fabio's schedule. He told me to notify him 30 minutes before arriving in Rome. I notified him 3 hours prior and he still could not make arrangements to allow us to check in. I cannot stress this enough. Everything about our stay was horrible. Do not stay here.

Second time in this place, I would like to give 5 starts but I can't. The first time wasn't bad at all the room is big enough, the bed is very comfortable but the tram that is right in front the building wasn't working so I didn't know that it's actually a very noisy place! The window was shaking when the tram was passing through (pretty much every 10 minutes all day and almost all night during the weekend). It's a very good place if you don't mind the noise!
