5 Stars, highly recommend! We are a party of 10 traveling throughout Europe who booked 5 rooms for 5 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end! Wonderful, very clean and well equipped rooms. Fantastic and always helpful service our entire stay, from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the lounge/beer waiters to the housekeeping staff - we couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time for our first visit to Munich! We very highly recommend the Insel Mühle Hotel, and do plan to return at some point in the future!

Amazing experience! Only stayed one night, but I would definitely come back again with my family for a longer stay. The only minus would be the rather longer walk to the s-back, especially if you are pulling trolleys on the sidewalk. But, otherwise the very old beautiful building is located on a small river, surrounded by many trees. The rooms are just wow, especially the ones from the last floor, where the bed is located on the upper floor. Two tv sets available, a small balcony with view to the backyard. Room: wow! 10/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Bathroom: modern, clean, confortable 9/10 Location: 8/10 View: 10/10 Breakfast: politically correct. Tasty, acceptable choice. No automatic coffee machine. 8/10 Reception: fast check-in and check-out. Less than 1 minute. 10/10 Bed: everything you wish for. 10/10 The best stay as a business traveller in the last months. Would come back anytime with my family, but maybe with the car or least with the bikes.

We loved our brief stay at this beautiful mill from the 15th century. A comfortable room with a window that opened to the river made for a peaceful repose. Delicious and plentiful breakfast too. Next time we hope to visit the beer garden, which was closed on a Wednesday. Quiet neighborhood a quick drive to all the sights in Munich.
