First and foremost VERY friendly and extremely helpful front desk staff. We arrived with all the kids and tones of luggage well before the check in time. The gentleman in charge went above and beyond figuring out how we can get our room earlier; we got upgrade and our room within 15 minutes after our arrival and hours before official check-in time. The lady on the front desk helped us find the laundry service - she called several businesses close to the hotel to make sure they are open, how much they would charge and how quickly will they be able to return our clothes (we stayed only 3 days right around New Year’s Eve). The same lady helped us figure out public transport including Bosporus boat ride. Cleaning ladies were also very friendly - kids got a cookie box from one of the women. We used hotel transfer from and back to the airport - very convenient, well worth it. Breakfast was decent. Location is amazing - we were able to walk to most of the well known attractions (Galata Tower, Mosques etc - you can also use metro or trolly, stations are very close to the hotel, but we preferred walking; Bosporus public transportation boats are also 5 minutes walk from the hotel). Overall - the hotel is not new, but clean, with amazing value for money and most friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

There are only few good things about this hotel, which was the receptionist Mr Ali, Ms Gamza the one who’s in the restaurant, she was always smiling and welcoming. But the AC system was horrible, it was hot all the time. The view, the location, the room size and the price was great.

The hotel is located in a good location near everything. Although notice next to busy main street and sound isolation in the rooms are quite bad, so expect a lot of noise until traffic dies down. Initial room that we hot was really bad. Seems some people still smoke in rooms and our room stinked. Luckily the reception switched our room. In general the hotel is in need of renovation. Also the smallest elevators I have ever seen. Barely two people fit. Still, saving grace was the staff. Especially the hospitality officer. She was the saving grace for me to give five stars for service.

We spent an 8 nights stay and everything was perfect. We arrived early in the morning (around 5am) and they offered us an early check-in for free. Close to the center of istanbul, all the major tourist spots are at a walk-distance, plus there’s a bus station right in front of the hotel doors. The rooftop restaurant has an outstanding view of the city, and the breakfast is pretty varied, we didn’t even got the chance to try and have breakfast outside the hotel. + 5 stars for the friendly staff. It was our first trip to Istanbul and certainly not the last, we will be back soon.

I’m sorry to say but the view is all they have. The hotel I very old and way too expensive for the conditions. Poor craftsmanship, so at this point it looks dirty. The light is horrible, very yellow and dark. Only 2/6 outlets worked. Towel rack fell apart. No good ventilation, AC barely works and is very dirty. Thankfully you can open windows and let the fresh air in. Smell comes out of bathroom pipes, strong smell. Beds are comfortable! But no blanket anywhere. Staff friendly , especially one young gentleman. He’s very efficient and kind. They all could speak better English.
