A bit old hotel with potential. Good floor and bathroom. But it's very mismanaged. Internet comes and goes. Not because of a lack of signal, just very old hardware or problems with ISP. Smelly chair and old furniture. The sheets and towels are too soft and don't feel fresh. As if they didn't use enough detergent when washing, if any. Gives an icky feeling. I'm sure the hotel can be good if they fix these things.

Iyarin is located in Tuek Chang (elephant building). It has been long running compond in the area. The room is tidy and clean despite a bit run down. Due to long running and recent economy, the hotel has become less popular and quiet but it is in a superb area. BTS Phaholyothin 24 station is just a few steps. Convenient store, street food, night matket and Major Cineplex Ratchayothin are in a walking distance. The price is relatively not high but fewer services are available.

This hotel is on the edge of a major highway (by city bus), from Don Mueang airport is around 17 km (if you take the taxi rate around 100 baht, if you use bus no.543 about 30 baht). The bus drops right in front of the building, it's just to look for the hotel sign Iyarin, you will not see from highway, because the signboard is only written Tuk Chang building. The lobby inside office and apartment on the 5th floor. During my stay here, I felt the money I spent was worth the room facilities. Large room, bathroom so big (although there is no bath tub) toiletries are only provided with soap gel and shampoo, toothpaste and brushes are not provided, wifi is OK, TV only local broadcast, cold air con, hot shower, free mineral water including coffee, sachet tea, sugar and creammer. There is a cupboard and storage box for valuables, bed is OK (not hard),there have 2 view ,to highway and city . My room I was in was located at 18th floor, so it was far from the highway noise. Free lobby PCs are also provided in the lobby. Location is not too far from Chatuchak market (5 km), not far from Chatuchak Park there too,closed from MRT station and Mochit bus terminal.
