All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the nibbles at the end of the day. Great location in Amsterdam and I found it value for money. My only very small quibbles were lack of power in the hairdryer, although I was pleased there was one, and the water was not quite hot enough. Very unimportant in the overall scheme of things and I would happily stay again.

Amazing hotel. The location is great for museum visits. The coffee machine is great and available all day. They have snacks all day. Everything in the hotel including furniture and utensils is high quality. Great customer service.

Spent 3 nights here in Nov 2023. Greeted by Vanessa in the foyer. Super nice. Very helpful. Rooms are clean but Tiny. I do mean tiny. Not bad, just wee. They have these massive TVs that never get turned on. Amazing bed linens and towels. Great pillows. Drinks, coffee, breakfast and snacks are all in included. Common areas are clean and comfortable. It’s a very unique place and I’d stay there again for sure.

The location is wonderful, the street is rather quiet and the Rijksmuseum is a stone's throw away. The breakfast buffet is limited, but very tasty. I would argue you'll find everything you need: fresh fruit, great pastry, overnight oats, salmon and avocado, yoghurt and granola, one kind of cheese (cut from a wheel of cheese), cake, different kinds of bread, two kinds of juice. When it comes to breakfast buffets, personally, I prefer limited options which are tasty rather than having a lot of choice, knowing most of it will be thrown away afterwards. The hotel's problem is management and cleanliness. While the bed and sheets were very comfortable and clean, the bathroom definitely wasn't. After the sixth long hair (among several short ones) I found on the bathroom floor I stopped counting. There were bath salts left on the edge of the bath, blue cleaning liquid around the toilet seat and the counter (where you put your toiletries) had not been wiped. We also found a plastic rose petal under the bed and noticed some stains on the curtains and the carpet. We reported the hairy floor on two occasions but not much changed on either of the days we stayed there. The interior design is really cool, but housekeeping is lacking. I would rather trade in one for the other. As several other people have commented, there are always (!) dirty dishes out in the hall, on every floor, at any time during the day. Not a major problem, but not a good look either. I would not recommend the hotel to elderly travellers. The stairs are very steep and narrow and the lift is tiny and therefore often occupied by other guests or the cleaning staff. All in all it was OK but I wish I had brought my slippers.
