We just stayed for two nights on a family trip, in units 49 and 51. Though the bungalows are dated, ours were clean and cozy. The real gems here are the location and the restaurant! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage next to the Athabasca River; there are plenty of chairs set up to pick your perfect spot. You may see elk wandering around if your timing is right. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE ELK VILLAGE RESTAURANT. We had dinner there twice, with everyone getting something different each night, and it was all fantastic. We were blown away by the quality, taste, and presentation of the food. I would love to visit here again in the future. Thank you, Jasper House!

After looking online for quite some time for a spot to stay in or around Jasper, my wife found this spot. Good ratings and reviews, and the photos online made it look pretty cozy. The area is amazing, and we were stoked to get out for some hikes along the river and maybe spot some wildlife. We booked only 1 night as we were heading to Banff the next day. The good. - Funky and cool old school log built cabins. Super retro and remind me of places I have seen from 1960's adds or travel shows - Staff were very helpful and super nice checking in - The location is amazing and the surrounding scenery is stunning (pics are from the river in front of the resort) - Very close to Jasper town center, only a short drive away - Very quiet (with the exception of the heater) - The restaurant was great, super tasty meals and nice staff - Lots of families and kids, big groups there together The bad. - Our room was very dirty. Like really bad. Cobwebs everywhere, super dusty - Our room also smelled like 60 year old cigarette smoke... it was rank. Terrible when coming in from the fresh mountain air - Heater in our room was super noisy I'm no snob or pampered by any means... but this was probably the dirtiest place I have ever paid to stay in. We let the staff know when checking out, and they were kind, apologized and said they would look into it right away. Hope the next people in that room have a better experience. I would not recommend based on our experience with our room. Outside of that, it was pretty nice spot. Others seem to have had a much better experience, so it may just be that room. Hopefully it has had a full cleaning since!

Just a couple miles from Jasper the Jasper House Bungalows offers comfortable accommodations and great food. Be sure to make dinner reservations when you arrive because the tables get busy. Enjoy wildlife at your doorstep and listen to the gentle sound of the river water.

We love our stay at Jasper House Bungalows and definitely would recommend it to our friend and family. The location is increasable! Some updates in the room would be nice (newer furniture for example, hooks for the jackets near the front door), but kitchen had everything we need for cooking, complimentary coffee, comfortable bad with different choices of the pillows from thick to thin (that my husband loved!); bungalow was clean, everything worked (lights, fridge, etc.), the friendly staff. We had some issue with our bungalow and the General Manager resolved the problem very well (thanks a lot!). Overall, the great place to stay.

Myself and my family (who were visiting from England) stayed here for 2 nights. The location is beautiful, just steps away from the Athabasca River and only a 5 min drive from Jasper town. The cabin we stayed in (#4) was a family cabin. It definitely needed some updating, and there was no heat source in the bathroom so it was quite chilly in a morning. The supplies in the room were basic but adequate. The freezer compartment in the fridge looks like it hasn't been defrosted for quite some time, and the oven and hobs were pretty slow to heat up. The beds were really comfortable and overall the accomodation was nice but for almost $500/night I expected more. On our final night we were woken up in the early hours by the smoke alarm chirping non stop (presumably because it needed a new battery) so had a pretty sleepless night which was not what we needed before a 5 hour drive home.
