Loved it. Only saw a few foreigners which was a big plus. Great location, big hotel room and great views. Only caveat is that it is a very busy station and pretty far from the popular areas of Tokyo. But all in all I couldn’t have asked for more

Great location. Easy access to Tokyo main stations such as Ueno, Ikebukuro, Nippori, etc. Friendly and helpful staff at all times. There’s also amenities station. The only down side would be I found some dirts in the washroom basins and toilet, but I am normally more picky on these than others. Love JR Mets hotels, always of good value.

Stayed at the ninth floor twin room with the view of the train station in the front. The view was incredible and you won’t be bothered by the noise cause they have a two layer thick windows to protect from the noise.

I asked for a room at the reception. The first person I've talked to was nice and was checking the availability. Meanwhile her supervisor ( I guess ) gave her a paper. And suddenly the hotel became fully booked. Who can believe that? During covid without any tourists in the country? And with a lot of availability on internet?!! I asked how come is it possible to suddenly be fully booked as I can book on internet. She replied to book on the internet then in a bad way. I felt so humiliate and discriminate. As a tourism professional I'll never recommend Jr Hotel to my clients and friends.
