A pleasant no frills guest house for travellers (alone or family) on a tight budget. Good value for money as the room size is big and the bathrooms are clean. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay of 3 weeks here while renovating our home. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at K2 Guesthouse and, unfortunately, I have to report that my experience was far from satisfactory. From the outset, every aspect of my stay was marred by problems that I feel need to be shared with potential future guests. Room Quality: The room provided was in a deplorable state. It was not only unclean, but also uncomfortable and did not match the description or images advertised. The lack of basic hygiene and maintenance made it incredibly challenging to relax or even get a good night's sleep. Service: The service, or lack thereof, was equally disappointing. The staff were unresponsive to requests and concerns, displaying a level of indifference that I found quite unsettling. This lack of hospitality made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Amenities: The amenities, which are often a saving grace in such situations, were also below par. Essential facilities were either malfunctioning or entirely absent, significantly diminishing the overall value of the guesthouse. Location: Even the location, which I hoped would compensate for the other shortcomings, proved to be less than ideal. It was either inconveniently situated or lacked the charm and accessibility that was advertised. Overall Experience: In summary, my stay at K2 Guesthouse was a series of disappointments. From the room quality and service to the amenities and location, everything fell drastically short of expectations. I regret to say that I cannot recommend this guesthouse to others, and I urge the management to make significant improvements to rectify these glaring issues.

It offers great value for the price. The room is both clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. Conveniently located, there is a bakery shop, Chinese restaurant, bars, and a grocery store right across from the hotel. Additionally, it is in close proximity to a bus stop and just a short walk to a subway station. Without a doubt, K2 Guest House will be my top choice the next time I visit Singapore.

I wanted to stay near NUS and this place is suitable: a short bus trip to the uni. The bus to elsewhere is readily accessible and there are two subway stops (equidistant from the hotel, unfortunately) within a ten minute walk. There are a couple restaurants, a couple pubs, and a fruit/veggie shop across street from the hotel but, for anything more, you’ll have to go some distance. A nice woodland walk and WWII memorial nearby was a pleasant surprise. With that said, the hotel itself is cozy and clean, with good rooms and fine service. I have stayed here a couple times and will happily return.
