The crews and support staff have the worst behavior. All staff are dedicated to the other two hotels KANNI Grant/Palm view and they never respond if you are staying in KANNI Beach (no staff for this hotel). Price is too high $210/night excluding the taxes but the worst behavior and zero services. The front desk staff have no manners.

There are multiple Kaani properties on Maafushi, e.g. Grand, Palm Beach, Village, and the Beach is the step child of them all! It has a great room, no questions, and a better location than Village if not Grand and Palm Beach. Internal amenities like towels, soaps and external services like transport, housekeeping, and breakfast are common across them, so you are still getting a pretty good deal. What prompted the perception is that this hotel doesn't have its own reception and restaurant so you have to go to the nearest Kaani Grand. No elevators as well. Wi-Fi was patchy and weak as well on the 2nd floor we stayed in but that's a minor quibble on a beach vacation. The hotel was listed as four stars on Google and Agoda but compared to Indian four stars, it didn't feel like that. No microwave or iron board, for instance, and the quality of soap was poor (one of those sticky ones which doesn't wash off easily and gives sticky after feeling). Compared to prices on other Kaani hotels, this was still a good deal, but you may consider Grand and Palm Beach if you get a good deal.

Not staying here. But the indian resto was so good. The best resto in maafushi. Well sometimes at night there music, 9-11 pm. Quite disturbing if u have to fly next day. But if you want dance ((no alcohol)) its quite entertaining. Small island, simple life, little night entertainment put all the people together.

Only the magic michael makes this place 5 stars. Without him the hotel would be 4 stars as presented on the booking, or less. He speaks, recommends and explains very well anything you ask him. He welcomed us in the hotel as if in his own home, always ready to help with anything we needed. With the help of Michael the Magician, we went on the most beautiful 1-day trips that changed our perspective of our life. The Michael is ... Magic...
