We had been travelling around Thailand for three weeks and mainly staying in hotels. Thought we'd save some money/take the risk and try a guesthouse. We were very impressed with this place. First of all the location is ideal. Just off the main street in Karon so just out of reach of the noisy bars. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. The street on which this guesthouse is situated has a good restaurant called Two Chefs. Food is brilliant and they do a cocktails happy hour between noon and 6pm followed by live music from 8pm. The room was basic and clean (better than some of the hotel rooms in which we had stayed). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use this place again.

Amazing place run by the most amazing family. When you stay at Karon Sunshine, you become family. Always a safe, relaxing, non-pretentious, welcoming oasis to call home when visiting Karon Beach. 5 STARS! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Simple clean room with all the basics. 2 min walk to the beach and near bars, street vendors and shops. Reasonably priced considering it was the peak season
