A Horrifying Experience: A Stern Warning to All I must share an appalling incident, highlighting four reasons why you should never book a stay at this hotel. You will regret it, without a shadow of a doubt. 1. Bed bugs infestation 2. Terrible staff attitude 3. Shoddy furniture 4. Unwashed clothing 5. Unpalatable breakfast I had booked a total of 11 nights at this hotel. I am accustomed to using new disposable paper mattresses at each hotel for hygiene reasons. As I was spreading out the disposable mattress, I noticed some black soil on the sheets. I didn't know what it was, but I let it slide, relying on my disposable mattress. I handed my clothes over to the hotel laundry on the first day. By the second and third day, I woke up feeling itchy and had poor sleep. By the fourth day, I was horrified to find more than three bed bugs on the bed. My legs were covered in bumps, looking like an allergic reaction or insect bites. It was terrifying, as I had never experienced this before. I was at a loss to understand the cause of this, given that my clothes were laundered by the hotel and I was using a disposable paper mattress. Hence, on the fourth day, I reported this to the staff. Their response was atrocious. They merely suggested that I was bitten by jellyfish while snorkeling, offering no practical solutions. They even suggested I check out if I wasn't satisfied. What a terrible attitude! I left on the fourth day, with no refund or apology from the hotel. After leaving, I was down with a fever for two days and had to receive intravenous treatment to recover. The staff mentioned they would report the issue to the manager and contact me, but it's been over six days without a word from them. If you don't want to ruin your trip to Gili T, avoid booking this resort at all costs. Image 1 shows the bites/inflammation on my legs upon waking up. Images 2 and 4 show the bed bugs. Image 5 shows the color of the wipe from the table.

I can't say other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this villa during my holiday on Gili Trawangan. We had the two-bedroom villa. The bedrooms were functionally furnished and both had outdoor showers. The outdoor shower was lovely. The shower was hot. The pool was very inviting (and let's face it: from your bed straight into the pool, doesn't it add to the holiday feeling?). The villa also has a large living room. Lovely! We sat here regularly and . we had breakfast every day. With great pleasure this was provided by one of the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, thanks for that! They have extensive offerings for breakfast. The night before the next day you can tell them by whatsapp and they will bring it the next day. Very nice! (You also have the option of eating breakfast at the restaurant). Then some pluses: - plenty of towels - plenty of beach towels - enough soap, body lotion etc - good cleaning The location of the villa is nice. Ours was located on a quiet part of the property. The location of the holiday park is good. You walk straight to the sunset part of Gili T. You can easily seek out the crowds, but you don't have to. Then lastly, the friendliness of the staff. I have not been able to catch a single staff member behaving unfriendly. They are all so friendly and that really adds to the experience of your holiday. One comment: We had booked a tour. This could have been better in terms of communication in my opinion. We had different expectations. This is also due to the communication. Otherwise fine!

My family of four stayed give nights at Kelapa Villas. Our villa was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a private pool. The veranda living room and kitchen are perfect for meals, games or great conversations. It is the perfect place for a family, two couples, or even two families in one of the larger villas. The staff was very kind and attentive, and they arranged seamless transfers to/from Lombok airport. The location on Gili T was good too - far enough from the hubbub, but still within walking distance of restaurants and a short bike ride (

Stayed here for about over a week for our time on Gili Trawangan, and I'll say from entering it was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were well taken care of, staff cleaned and took care of everything with a smile and courteously. Pool was great, and well taken care of. Staff were especially lovely and helpful. Always with a smile and go the extra mile for anything needed. Breakfast and lunch was very nice! Highly recommend the banana pancake, smashed avocado toast, or breakfast burritos. Beautifully located in the middle of the island so you're always just about a 10-20 minute walk at Max from anything.
