Nestled in the serene beauty of Koh Chang, Kooncharaburi Resort is a calming oasis that has touched our hearts with its warmth and simplicity. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, offering a peaceful retreat. The lovingly preserved charm of the old architecture added to the resort's unique character. What won us over was the value for money. The food was not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. We came across an all-inclusive package that included island tours, snorkeling, and accommodation for less than 3,000 baht per person. Privacy and serenity are the hallmarks of this resort. Our rooms led to a private beach with a breathtaking sunset view. The attentive and passionate staff who went above and beyond made our stay truly memorable. The exquisite cuisine, the tranquil and secluded ambiance with awe-inspiring sea views, and the delightful presence of wildlife further enhanced our experience. Every breakfast was a treat, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Although some parts of the hotel were being renovated, it didn't dampen our spirits. The Kooncharaburi Resort Koh Chang is a gem for those seeking relaxation. The beachfront rooms and large, inviting swimming pool provide a perfect escape. If you crave a private and tranquil retreat, this resort is heartwarming.

Room is large, but the first room we got did nkt have a good airconditioner so we needed to change. The breakfast was plentiful but not very tasty. The place has the feeling of being much better before but suffers from inadequate maintenance. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. The good point about this hotel is that it is really quiet and is nestled in nature.

Huge resort that looks totally abandoned. We arrived to take a look and after 20 minutes of wandering around a Thai guy showed up on a motorbike, smiling and not speaking any English. Edit: apparently the resort has been renovated/reopened in 2021. Can't speak to the quality of the accommodations.

It was like an abandonned hotel. No welness at all! This has nothing to do with resort, spa or welness! The 'private beach' is a mess, full of plastic, all kind of waste and even broken glass, so it is imposible to walk barefeet in the Sand. There are 3 Pools, the biggest one is dirty with leafs and has a green shade on top of water, the other 2 Pools are not even filled with water. The shower by the Pool did not work. Our room was directly above the airconditioner which was extrem loud so sleeping was impossible! The Safe in the room also did not work because the batteries were damaged so batteriefluid ran out. Even the Safe was not installed so anyone could take the Safe out of the room. The balconydoor did not close so you could open from the outside. The bathroom was full of mold. Everywhere was mold! The TV in the room had no program so it was just gray, even the remote had no batteries. Our lamp at the nighttable did not work. There is no food available except cold breakfast. And the Restaurants are at least 5 km away. These are just a few points and I could countinue till my thumbs are wound. The only explanation for the existence is Money Laundry. Worst experience ever made in whole life and I stayed 2 weeks in dirty hotels, but not as dirty as this hotel, in cambodia!
