This Hotel is so good for its Price! Great service! (They replace towels and bed sheets ever day, also provide free water bottles and toiletry everyday!) The free shuttle bus from Kyoto Train station to Hotel ( and vice versa) is really handy for travelling around Kyoto! Really good for the price you pay at this Hotel! (Also, they gave free tickets to breakfast buffet every day too!)

This hotel is absolutely STUNNING!! The lobby is uniquely placed on the lower level where there are a number of excellent restaurants and beautiful garden areas where you can just sit and relax. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a couple of nights. However, our room was immaculate, the staff provided exceptional customer service and the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and stores. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

An old classic elegant hotel in Kyoto. Booked the concept king room, lots of space with its own couch and table. Great experience and hotel service is one of the best. We found out on our way home there’s a private hotel bus shuttle service from Kyoto station to the hotel every 30 mins at certain hours of the day. There’s a temple site right beside the hotel. The hop on hop off bus stop is right outside the hotel. Very easy to take a taxi from the hotel as there’s always one waiting. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in an exclusive elegant comfortable space.

The reception staff treated me in an unfriendly way as a Woman. They could not use our Credit cards. We missed the shuttle and almost missed the Train. The location if the Hotel is very inconvenient. No sights or Restaurants Are nearby. The Windows in the Room do Not Open. So the air quality is very Bad. The gym is also very small, no windows, the running machine was rusty and broken.
