Great hotel ! We visited at the end of October and had a great chilled holiday. Food was good, beer was cold and the sun was shining ! Pools were cold but to be expected. Only points to improve would be to have proper cocktails, especially those that should be slush type cocktails like daiquiris etc

really nice well maintained hotel massive lobby with piano entertainment at night and drinks service I think most of the day. there are three lifts for each section of the the rooms of the hotel so 6 in total. it was a very enjoyable time. I'm not sure why some people habe been so negative but I didn't find anything to really justify their star ratings. the food is good although main restaurant did get a little repetitive. the staff are good none are rude but some are a little slow but none are terrible. there are small bits that needed fixing but for the size of the grounds this was pretty reasonable. if you want a perfect hotel where you don't have to lift a finger there is one just round the corner but that costs more for a week than two weeks cost here so I think for what you pay and what you get la blanch is worth the money. we had good weather, and a very relaxing time with good food and plenty of drinks, enjoyed swimming in both the pools nad the sea. in short would I go back - yes. is it worth the money - yes. would I recommend it for families couples or singles - yes. if you just want to party maybe not.

This hotel was fantastic for all the family. Could not have asked for more, a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Loads of food to choose from but it wasn't as enjoyable as it looked for me and my teenage daughters at least. The conference of pulmonary consultants was an annoyance to be honest, ironic when they were all outside smoking in front of the guests too

We are just back from our family holiday to la blanche island. The place is beautiful, the views are amazing, my children really enjoyed the small aqua park. The service was fantastic,all the staff who worked at the snack bars and restaurant were outstanding, they work very hard and are amazing at their job. The place was well maintained and clean. There were occasional let downs and these were sometimes the beach towels had marks on them from not being cleaned properly. We had an issue with beds getting made for the kids, but we spoke to guest relations and this was fixed right away. The food is omg! It was just fantastic! The Pina restaurant was superb, we had read reviews saying a lot of things were the same, we did not find this, though there is the exception for children, they always have chips, onion rings and chicken nuggets, cheese balls, things like this and plan spaghetti. But this is to be expected at every all inclusive. I never attended the spa during our time so I cannot comment on this, but what I will say is the sales men who come round the pools can seem really pushy, desperate for a sale from you and I thought the prices were very high for this, one sales man said €60 for me to have a Turkish bath, which I thought and no offense, but I would rather come home to Scotland and treat my self to a spa massage for that kind of money. Anyway overall la blanche island was lovely and fabulous but I agree with other reviews and say it's not a five star more like a 3 star based on the extra services you get with proper 5 star star hotels, which you don't get here. But overall an enjoyable stay.
