I stayed 2 nights in this place. The only positive point about this place was that it was 10 minutes walk to the Florence Central station. We got the room which was facing the street. There seems to be no noise or heat insulation. You can hear people talking on the street and also in the corridor. We couldn’t sleep until 1 o clock in the morning and we had to get up early. If you are a person who sleeps early and want peace, this isn’t the place for you. On the other hand if you are young and want to party late and come to the room and sleep late evening, then maybe. The room was quite big but the shower was too small. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my stay at this place.

We stayed in La Corte dei Principi for 3 nights. And I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay. The b&b is located very close to the city centre (a 10 minutes walk). Also the room was more than ok. It had an airco, a decent bed, the room was clean and we got new towels when we needed them. Also the employees are all very friendly and helpfull. The only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars is because of the breakfast. It was a decent breakfast to be honest but way to sweet for me personally (cookies, cakes etc.). Adding something small like jam, cheese, an extra type of bread... would maybe be better to make the breakfast atleast a little bit more healthy. But I have to say, just book this b&b if you want to stay in Florence because it's extremely decent for it's price. Thanks for the nice stay!

Avoid this place. Simple as that. We checked out a day early. Because: 1. Black mold in the shower. 2. Very warm in the room. Refusal to turn on AC. Told me, "It's not July." 3. Mosquitoes while the window is opened when attempting to cool down the room. 4. Entry door and bathroom door scrape the floor. Becomes worse when they expand due to warmth and humidity. Management was rude and didn't address any of our concerns. They got our money up-front. Now we are fighting for a one night refund.

This is a hotel having no signage on the outside and if you are tourist visiting for the first time, you may find it difficult to locate. The hotel consists of just a few rooms on the 1st floor of the building and no reception service most of the time. If you require anything, such as booking a taxi, water, etc it becomes difficult. However, the reception staff whenever they are available are good and cooperative, which is the only saving grace. The passage is very narrow and gives you a dingy feeling. Once inside the room you are comfortable but, nothing great.
