I stayed here with 2 family members for our yearly Euro trip and I cannot emphasize how amazing the staff is. They helped me solve a big issue I had with my phone, in the middle of the night! It is remarkably clean and we had a wonderful welcome champagne waiting for us. The linens were incredible! I think I will miss those the most! The location was excellent, very central as we walked everywhere. 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Paris.

Beautiful little hotel. Fantastic service. The location is perfect for some fancy shopping. I almost didn't want to write this review because I feel that gems like this should be hidden and saved only for myself, but that would be mean at best.

Beautiful hotel. Easy walking distance to many attractions, bars and resturants. Decor was amazing, our room had a lovely street view. The staff were wonderful, attentive and friendly. The bar and lounge area was lovely to sit and chat with a drink after a long day of sight seeing. Would highly recomment a stay here. You will not be disappointed.

La Demeure Montaigne is a nice spa hotel worth a stay. A lengthy renovation means that the facilities are very new and the complimentary water in glass bottles are a great touch. The non-suite rooms, while small, offer top tier amenities. This applies to the very small gym and pool area as well, though they are generally empty. There are issues with service, however, that other reviewers have also pointed out. If you expect to be greeted consistently as you walk into the hotel, don’t. The receptionist ladies as well as some of the concierge staff seem to be allergic to greeting hotel guests and more interested in talking with each other at their respective desks. Additionally, the cleaning staff failed to make up our room despite the sign hanging on our door and them cleaning our neighbors’ rooms. The spa is perhaps the hotel’s saving grace. I had a great facial treatment delivered by spa practician Jade (?) on my last night and the secluded nature of the Thalgo Spa downstairs provides for fantastic ambiance and excellent privacy.

The location of the hotel was perfect, although the service had almost ruined our stay. We continuously asked for air conditioning in our room, but we were in the old building so we were not able to sleep properly for 4 out of the 6 nights. We had to open the window which was a safety hazard because of the lack of protection surrounding it, especially because there were kids in the room. We were told that we were provided with our requests, but the staff never met them. We asked in total of 8-10 staff. Even simple things like changing pillows took 3 days. Also their attitude towards the guests are not unsatisfactory, which leaves us worrying about our safety and our sleep. This was supposed to be a comfortable vacation in Paris, but it wasn’t as enjoyable as we expected. This is unacceptable for such a well-rated hotel.
