First time stay and it has what you need as a single business traveler. Complimentary filtered water refilled daily and simple breakfast from 07:30 a.m (which I think it’s a bit late for business traveler). Design is modern and chic (not like some old photos on Google) but aircon in room is very noisy. There are many Asian restaurants in the hood with good reviews. Convenient walking distance to buss and metro.

This was my husband and I's first trip to Paris and I was so nervous about finding just the right hotel and one that we could afford. This hotel did not disappoint! The staff was amazing, every last one of them, and the hotel was perfect! You could tell it was recently remodeled and it was clean and beautiful!! The location was PERFECT! Such an easy walk to everything and close to the metro. It was also quiet and peaceful. I will say that I was glad that we upgraded to the "Roomie" room because I did like the extra room we had. We will absolutely stay there again and I have already recommended it to several friends.

After exploring various hotels under the Machefert Group, I can confidently say that La Dépendance stands out with its unique charm and warm, family-like atmosphere. The general manager, Pierre, deserves special mention for his outstanding hospitality. He, along with the entire team, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Their attentiveness and warmth made me feel more like a cherished guest rather than just another traveler. The hotel itself combines convenience with elegance, making it a perfect choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the Parisian lifestyle. Highly recommend for a truly authentic and welcoming experience in the heart of Paris!

Unfortunately there was a train strike when I wanted to visit. I was looking forward to staying at the hotel. But when I couldn’t get to the hotel because of the strike, they refused to give me my money back or even give me a voucher for the next time. In my eyes they just stole my money. I was very disappointed and shocked that I wouldn’t be compensated. Again I wasn’t really looking to get money back , but at least a voucher. So if anyone would like to stay at this hotel make sure you have no problems getting there because you will lose your money… it’s not worth it.
