What a gem! From the moment we stepped foot in this lovely B&B, we felt welcome and at home. The rooms are comfortable, and well decorated. The breakfast was fantastic. But what steals the cake is the outstanding service from the friendly staff. Great recommendations of where to go in Florence and very accommodating. We would love to go back!!

This is by far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in! The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean, 15-20 mins walk from sightseeing and amazing treatment from the staff, breakfast prepared every morning, plus a quite and safe area by the river. Joan is super helpful and kind, couldn’t ask for more! Definitely worth it and will be back again. Thank you La Fonderia!

This is a really nice place to stay to feel that this is Firenze. Very clean and pretty space and decoration made me so happy. Breakfast time in the garden or garden-side room was great. The food was very good. There is a woman who helps to make a warm food and serves coffee. She can also help you to make a reservation for a taxi. My room was big enough. It has two flats connected with spiral steps. The second floor is a half size of the first one and you can look down the first floor. There is one big bed on the first floor and two single beds on the second floor. There are various rooms in the house hotel. On the second floor there are single rooms with shared-bathroom. You must carry your bag through narrow spiral steps in the living-room. When you arrived at this place, first check your email the owner sent a digit code to open the main gate. Then you can see high steep steps to climb. This is the disadvantage of this place. There is no one to help you carry the luggages to upstairs when you arrive and to downstairs when you leave. We had three heavy luggages. :( On the middle of the steps there is a chair. On the chair there is a room key with your name. And the directions and conditions are written.
