I rated the property relative to how much we paid for the room. For a very reasonable price, this place is great. Walking distance to the Roma Termini, easy to find using google maps. Located in a peaceful neigborhood with nice courtyard view. The room itself is nice and tidy. You can walk to several churches (Basilica Sta Maggiore etc). Self check-in instructions easy to follow, note that you need a phone with internet connection to be able to do so. Light Breakfast is good, you can choose from several types coffee, tea, juice, water and some pastries and biscuits.

The owner of the non-hotel was rude and petty. We arrived late, and they threatened to not allow us to sleep there but still charge us the full fee anyway. Room was spacious and clean. Important… very difficult to find the house and must follow the instructions meticulously. Fine if you have time and energy. Little privacy as this is a shared house. Paid 175 Euros for 1 night in July 2023.

ADVANTAGES: - Nice room in regards to decoration and space. - View outside of the window was not bad (nothing particular though, just seeing the road and the accross buildings). - Could get as much toilet paper and towels as you could from a wardrobe in the main hall (outside of the room). - Owners seemed nice (not the most kind and helpful ones, but they were Ok). - Breakfast was very good. - Location was near Termini station where we could take buses to everywhere. - Very decent price per night (middle December and we booked it from Booking app 4 months ago). DISADVANTAGES: - No room cleaning service for a whole week! No one cleaned our room since our check-in. - Also having doubts on how much clean the room was in general. This thought because when I put out my Tablet of the drawer of the bedside table, there were small insects on it (like moths). Maybe this is only in drawers because it's wood. The room in general seemed clean (but seeming And being in real clean, it is different). - The washbasin (bathroom sink washing our hands) got clogged and ended at some point and after washing our hands and teeth etc within the shower! - Owners as said above were nice but the father didn't know English at all so the communication was in general difficult. Also, the (probably) son even though he knew some English and smiling and greeting us all the time, He though never asked us if we wanted any assistance with anything further. COMMENTS: - As said above, you can take how much you like of toilet paper and towels in main hall (reception) but the owners didn't inform us of this from the beginning. Just telling this so that people know. - About the location of the building, Firstly the building is not only Locanda Dell'Angelo. There are many and different hotels/apartments in the same building. The Main Entrance of this building is different than what Google Maps pointed us out on the screen. It is actually right on the bus stop of the Viale Castro Pretorio road.

This is a cheap hotel which is ok if you don't have high expectations as it may appear more a b&b. I didn't like that the breakfast was accessible only outside in a bar very close to the hotel: we had to pay for water, as only coffee and croissant were offered to us. I would prefer not to have a breakfast-included misleading information but rather to be advised that I could serve to a very close bar. The room was quiet, but still in front of a road so if you are very sensitive to noises may be annoying, I had a good sleep though. It is very close to a metro station, so definitively a plus if you a travelling as a tourist.
