Great location, hot breakfast is wonderful with sausage scrambled eggs. Hard boiled eggs all the pastries cereal's juices staff is incredibly friendly. I've been staying here for weeks now. And the staff. Goes out of their way to be helpful The hotel is undergoing some changes to be updated and when all said and done The new rooms will be beautiful. I would recommend staying here location price friendly staff. Well, worth it, we will stay again.

This was the worst experience of my trip. My husband and I were having a great time in Florida until we went into 3800 W Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. The staff were friendly and kind. However the rooms were the absolute worst. The first room we looked at had what looked like rat poop on the mattress. Went to the front desk for a new room only for that room to have bugs in the bed. That was the last straw. My husband and I definitely got out of there fast and in hurry. It was only the two of us that came we were not trying to take any extra creepy crawlers home with us. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was generous on giving the 1 rating only because the system would not allow a zero.

This is the first online review I've ever written. Needed to let other know .... DONT STAY HERE !! Our room smelt so strongly of mold, I literally became short of breath within a few minutes. The bedding was damp, the floors were damp, and my favorite, there were MATCHSTICKS sticking out of both electrical outlets !! I could not believe how disgusting this place was. I will say, the lady at the desk was polite & seemed to empathize with us. We first received a new room ... which was slightly better than the 1st, but the smell was still overwhelming. We ended up getting a full refund & had to book somewhere else. Could not believe how unsanitary it is !

I would give this place zero stars if I could. It was filthy, run down and disgusting. The common areas had accumulated filth over a the surfaces including the AC next to the check in desk, the floors had not seen a vacuum in a very long time with gross substances and litter in the halls. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling, the shower didn’t drain, I had no towels, there was accumulated filth in the corners of the bathroom and the blow dryer was disgusting. The drinks and yogurt I placed in the refrigerator were frozen solid by morning. Every time I used my key card it had to be reset by the front desk and the whole hotel reeked of cannabis smoke. I watched an employee simply add more water to the orange juice rather than make more to refill it. It was already was already almost clear. If everything else had not been booked I would have walked out. I will NEVER stay at another LaQuinta ever again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT... DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The lobby smelled of smoke and had transient people in the lobby. I checked in December 7th for the night and the check in went smoothly. The room in itself was okay although it was nothing to write home about. I showered and went to bed. I woke up around 2am to find ROACHES crawling on me in the bed. I turned on the light and there were roaches everywhere. I immediately packed my belongings and went to the front desk. The overnight desk person told me that the hotel is aware and that this has been an ongoing problem there. She advised me that she did not have any other rooms available, as if I wanted to stay there any longer than I had. She gave me the address for other hotels in the area and I left. I was told that I would be getting a refund, however that never happened either. So here I am at 2:30am trying to find a hotel to rest my head for the night. No one ever called me and trying to reach the front desk management is impossible. I REPEAT... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
