Lake Powell Resort

Disgusting-the firs word that came on mind thinking of this hotel. The only good thing there was location and view , everything else was a full disappointment. 1. Starting from lobby and restaurant- there was a horrible smell of sewage waste all the time. It was impossible to eat there. I had vomiting attacks all the time when had to enter that area. So we always took food to go. 2. On the beach near hotel was the same awful smell so I think they just brought all the sewage waste in the lake. 3. Our keys were not working. We had to go to the lobby 3-5 times per day to change the keys.every time we left the room we had to waste our time going to reception and waiting for new keys. We stayed there 4 days, so you imagine how annoying that was. 4. Dirty cups. I will add the picture so you could see in what cup they bring me hot water for tea. 5. No housekeeping, no one cleans our room for all 4 days. 6. All room towels smells of mold. We tried to change them on reception but they give us new towels that smells the same. So we used towel from the pool, they were not so smelly. 7. Old furniture in bad condition in the room. 8. Not enough lamps outside. When the sun goes down we had to use phone flashlights to get to the lobby. 9. Rude restaurant manager. The restaurant was half empty but no one approached to us. there was a lady dressed like all the waiters so we asked her if she could take our order. She answered very rudely that she is a manager and has no time for us… rude and unprofessional. 9. All hotel guests were old people. I have nothing against the old people but we were the only young couple there. It was like we stayed 4 days in nursing home…there is a picture we took at 6:20 am, all this people were in line to the restaurant for breakfast . What about students that work there as waiters-they were very nice and polite.

Our time spent there was amazing The scenery The view was just beautiful The grounds were kept a very nice parking lot was very nice The rooms were older but they were well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable, the parking does cost $30 to get into the facility because you have to go through a national park but there is no additional cost once you get to the resort. They have a restaurant there and the dinner was amazing. The breakfast is a buffet style, what the standard eggs bacon sausage potatoes but they had a wide variety of fresh fruit yogurts granolas cottage cheese juices coffee this weight staff is so amazingly friendly and attentive. The rooms were priced as nice as in page but the surroundings that you get the views of the lake are so much better than you would ever experience in Page and that we also did stay in a place in Page 2 weeks before which was also nice but this was a really nice quiet friendly environment we would most definitely go again.
