My stay at Le Passe Temps was a highlight of my travels in Thailand. The remote location is perfect, with a private beach, beautiful grounds, a swimming pool and several areas to read and relax. The Thai style cottages are gorgeous and the accommodations meet your every need. Most outstanding are the hosts, who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Pre dinner cocktail hour and the food at the restaurant are fantastic as are the various tours offered to guests. I very much look forward to my next visit.

I had the chance to stay here for 3 nights, and the ambiance was incredibly serene. Before anything else, let me talk about the accommodation first. It's a Thai-style wooden bungalow with very soft beds and pillows. The moment I entered the air-conditioned room, it was refreshingly cool. The most remarkable and praiseworthy aspect of this place is their commitment to using environmentally friendly products. I didn't see a single piece of plastic. Firstly, they provide glass water bottles instead of plastic ones, and they even have stainless steel water flasks to keep drinks cold for guests to carry around. Another noticeable feature was the waste bins. Instead of small plastic containers, they use woven wicker baskets that blend perfectly with the interior decor. Not to mention, the laundry service uses cloth baskets, showing their attention to detail and dedication to the environment. It's truly commendable.

Good: - A very lovely place with a beautiful private beach and great interior design. - The hosts are very welcoming and nice people. - Staff was exceptionally good even though English skills were basic(their French seemed good for most guests are French). Not so good: - The food was ok but there are much better options around. - It seemed priced too high for the experience provided as compared to what's offered around. I loved the place but there are a few things that didn't deliver on the boutique luxury concept.
