We stayed for one night to visit the Christmas market. Fortunate to get a room as the city was very booked. It’s a solid budget hotel. We traveled with 3 people and the hotel kindly emailed me before I arrived to ask what type of bed configuration we preferred which was good service. Staff were nice and delivered Christmas chocolate treats to our room. Also the front lobby had free gluhwein and cookies in the evening. Room was large and clean. Bathroom had a bathtub. Parking was convenient and inexpensive for 24 hours. Breakfast had good selection of food though it was a really busy and took some time to get a table. I give it a 4 star instead of 5 because of the dated decor and the location. A distance from the city center. We took taxis as bus seemed delayed. Cost about €13-17 depending on traffic. Overall I would recommend but if there was a similar priced hotel closer to the Christmas market I would have opted for that.

Great hotel, amazing bed and pillows, we slept lovely, quiet location, the staff is friendly and there are easy parking facilities. In 10 min you are in town with public transport which is very convenient. We find it great value for money and recommend it.

Not a very welcoming Hotel, thankfully we only stayed one night. The restaurant and bar were closed. Only vending machines in the lobby for snacks. Our room was large but needed a proper cleaning. The toilet seat was yellow (underneath) and the sink was quite nasty looking and needs to be replaced. Breakfast was good and had everything I needed.

The location is worst and the price is high, for the same price we could get Novotel aachen hotel which is near to every shopping place and restaurants. The hotel said they have an indoor swimming pool in the booking website and that's one of the main reasons I booked this place for 36 days (for a business visit). When asked about the swimming pool they said the hotel doesn't have such a facility. When asked for a refund for my booking or free cancellation, because this hotel doesn't have any good facilities, they said they can't and it's not their fault and gave me 2 tickets for free dinner and 1 ticket for free beverage. So the booking website (Agoda) couldn't process my request. So overall this is a terrible place, just take money and give misinformation. I would happily take Novotel next time when I come to Aachen for my next business visit. So anyone looking for a hotel skip this one please. I didn't like the place and the customer service.
