We arrived in Milan, our first time visit to Italy and were staying at the Leonardo hotel, situated in China Town. The reception area was very opulent, which gave us high expectations. Unfortunately, when we reached our room, we were a little disappointed. The room was slightly 'tired'. There was a couch in the room, that had dirty marks all over it and there were some dirty marks on some of the walls. In the bathroom was a bath with an 'in-bath' shower, toilet and bidet The hotel supplied shower gels, body creams and shampoos which were very nice and replaced daily. Unfortunately, the toilet seat had a crack/chip on it, which was upsetting. There were three of us staying in the room, but there were only 2 cups set for tea - we advised the reception of this, but it was not corrected until we left a note for the room cleaning service. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice. Our only complaint would be that the scrambled eggs were not cooked properly, they were 'snotty'

I booked this hotel for 5 nights, and it was one of the saddest moments. We were greeted by the employee Diego, and I do not recommend dealing with him as a person who lacks the method of dealing with guests. Also, when asked about parking, he said that it is not affiliated with the hotel. After two days, it turned out that it belongs to the hotel. You can pay at the reception 85 euros for 5 nights, a very high price, the air conditioner is hot, and when talking to the receptionist, he said that this is the air conditioning system in the hotel. This cannot be changed, and I do not recommend breakfast, as its price is high. It seems that the owner of this hotel is very miserly. Everything in this hotel is old. You want to iron your clothes. There is only one iron. It is located in the meeting room. The streets around the hotel are uncomfortable at night. I don't know how this hotel got a 4-star rating.

The staff and receptionist are all very polite, our stay here was a pleasant experience. The rooms were all very clean and the breakfast buffet was really good. We will definitely come again!

we stayed her weekend of 18th August 2023 booked through easyjet. room was advertise as 4* on easyjet couch had stained, decor was very tired.. general in very bad service level. chewing gum on carpet, draws not fitting and broken, ceiling hanging down, generally very bad quality of decor. advised by staff, this is their comfort room level. advised i would not stay there, the instantly upgraded to a Superior room.. still old, but damage not so severe. room laid out for 1 person.. kettle did not work.. but generally better location is in the middle of Chinatown. and bar closes at 10pm. breakfast okay, limited choice.. would not stay again.. sorry Dave & Anita
