We traveled from New York and wanted to be in Old Montreal. This hotel is perfectly located there. Each day, we walked everywhere and took in the varied architectural structures and holiday charm. Stores were open, people were friendly, and we were able to eat at a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. Our hotel rooms were substantial in size and very comfortable. The staff was personable, friendly, and exceeded helpful with our requests our needs. We even met other visitors who said they always stay at this hotel. What a substantial recommendation. Thank you again to the hard-working staff. You truly made our stay more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay in Montreal and the LHotel made this stay even more memorable. Great location with many activities and restaurants around. We also had to take our time to examine every art piece in the building because it felt like we were in a museum. All in all I really recommend it.

Very nice hotel in the old port of montreal. I do like the style of the hotel and the room(size). Everything was very clean and the service was impeccable! Things i was not very fond of: The breakfast is rather specious and 'served' on paper plates and in paper cups - very wasteful. Also - no plant milk was offered. The light in the bathroom is connected to a very loud fan. I just switched on the light in the bathroom if a really had to to avoid the noise. There were no hooks on entry to hang the jacket - which is very useful, especially in winter when you come in and hang your jacket and remove your shoes. Would probably come back if the breakfast would be served properly and not on wasteful plates / cups.

Loved everything about LHotel. Had a wonderful room complete with sitting area and big bathroom. The public spaces -- lobby, breakfast room, all hallways on every floor and even the stairwells -- come alive with the private art collection of owner Georges Marciano. What a treat. Gorgeous building, inside and out, and the most phenomenal location in Old Montreal. Can't wait to stay there again!

Stunning hotel. Absolutely beautifully decorated Could be 5 perfect stars if: * They hired a couple real bartenders. Ditch drink making machine operated by non-drinker * They hired some bellboy staff to man the front entry so guests don't have to lug bags up many stairs. Added some kind of room service to deliver coffee in morning. Especially to the Presidential suite. PS cut down staff there worked their tails off!
