I wish I could say I loved this hotel. I had high hopes as this was my 40th birthday and 22 year wedding anniversary. We booked this option, while looking at several other ones. Here is what really disappointed me: We paid a premium to be in the prestige Eiffel Tower view. You could NOT see the tower unless you stood in a particular spot on your balcony. This should be disclosed as I expected to see it from my room. There was construction going on which was not disclosed during time of booking. We were not able to use anything in the hotel except our room and restaurant. The jacuzzi was not working, and this was a highlight for us a time of booking. I booked this on their “Black Friday sale” which claimed to be 50% off but when we checked in the prices without a sale were $269 while we averaged close to $500 with the “50% discount” so wrong! I sent an email expressing my dissatisfaction and disappointment on the day of arrival- still no response. When asked by the staff how was my stay- I was upfront about everything. They called the manager to help us settle it, but the manager said “sorry, we can’t do anything” I would not recommend this place. There are much better hotels for this price.

The room was lovely & clean. Kitchenette fantastic! Window a bit drafty & paper thin to the street noise but quite sound secure within the building (do not hear other guests). All the staff I met were friendly & kind. Location easy access to Nation Station. Street feels safe with cafes, grocery, shops, etc. If traveling with lots of luggage, room will feel small.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for four nights prior to a Viking cruise. The lobby was very well appointed and clean. Our room was recently renovated with comfortable king mattress and very nice bathroom. Truly a very pleasant stay. We would love to return at a future date.

The concierge was a nightmare. My husband asked if reservations were needed for louvre museum, the concierge stated no. So we listened to her and visited the Louvre next day yet were not able to get in with out a reservation. Upon checking online at the entrance of museum, all reservations were booked for the entire day(this was 11:30am). What a waste of travel/planning for the day in particular with kids. The concierge was also asked about Eiffel tower strike information and they denied and booked us a tour. We checked in at 11am day of tour at desk to confirm still happening and they confirmed. Only to travel all the way there to be turned away due to the strike. Tour guide told us our hotel should have contacted us. My children were SO upset. Very sad and could have been prevented by concierge telling us day of and also acknowledging strike was happening when booking. We complained as these two plans not happening disrupted to say the least our day/trip. The did not even apologized and offered us drinks from the bar. Nothing else. We arrived at the hotel day after christmas early in the morning due to red eye flight. The man working front desk was very nice and greeted them with christmas stockings and chocolates to kiddos. The hotel was art deco style and clean lobby. We were able to early check in which was wonderful. Our room was OK, nothing over the top. We just had a view of neighbor building. The bathroom had a stale smell of smoke of I hope years past but hard to believe. This did irritate my asthma. We asked room service for bath salts/bubble baths yet they were out which was disappointing for this 5 star level. I went out and bought my own at Rituals. Our refrigerator did not turn or was broke. The bar seemed under staffed yet had a great wine list. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed it twice. Christina the manager was very nice and offered a balloon to my kiddo
