I really like Dmila however I must leave an honest review for the next guests. I don’t recommend it because you can’t not access the house before 7.30pm also you don’t have a key for the building. You can’t walk in and walk out freely, if you leave in the morning you can not come back until 7.30pm. If you want the key you have to pay 500 euros for the caution. Also she has two dogs, samba is a German shepherd dog, she is very very friendly but very huge as well and she will jump on you cause she would want to play with you, so if you don’t like dogs you won’t like it here. No where on the description of the “hotel” which isn’t a hotel really is stipulated that the house has the two dogs the two cats and the cute bird napoleon. Apparently you can’t come back after midnight but she told me I can call her at anytime of the night for her to open the door for me. I didn’t even dare to go out cause I was afraid she would not answer the phone and not let me enter. If you have a friend with you coming to the hotel to maybe use the bathroom or pick up anything you need to give them she is questioning you with: “who is this person”? You only booked it for one, why is she here? Where is she staying? Etc etc. That I didn’t like. You could never have a friend over because she is controlling who enters and who leaves. You are not really free. Other than that breakfast it’s at 9am and it’s very great breakfast!!! I didn’t hate the hotel cause I am a patient person and hate arguments, but once more I would not recommend it. Best wishes to the host, I know she is a nice person and loves people, but in her own way 😅

Excelent experience, great hostess, super friendly and helpful! Room was neat and clean, with enough storage for our stay. Shower in room was a nice surprise. Toilet is shared with the other room but there were no problems.

Wonderful guest room just next to the saint Charles train station. It is perfectly located to visit the city either by foot or transport. The room was clean. The owner is a nice lady, really talkative and helpful !! If you dislike pets, this may not be the place for you. We were there as a couple and she definetly made our first time in Marseille a nice one ! Would really go again and bring some cheese as she enjoys it a lot ^^

After years of travelling, this has probably been our worst experience. Booking here is literally like booking a prison cell, just more expensive. We arrived at 10.30pm and were told that if we leave again we must come back before 11pm. Otherwise we'd have to pay 500 euros as all guests must be on their rooms after 11 pm. This seems to be a policy because there is only one key and the guests do not get them unless they stay multiple nights and pay several hundred euros. This all sound ridiculous but was true. Since we only had one night in Marseille, everything we saw from Marseille was our room and the pizza next door where we spend the 30 minutes we had left to get something to eat. Do not book here.
