One should be able to leave a zero star review but unfortunately that isn't the case. We booked a room with a nice view and we're given a very small subterranean room with mold that smells bad , a mattress that must be 30 years old, and no hot water. I wrote and called and talked with Andrea who told me to "just wait up to two minutes for the hot water to come" and I told him we waited longer than that and still no hot water. He then ignored me. So no hot showers, Many other have had this same experience. We paid 50 euros on top of a smartbox gift. The whole thing is a sham. Stay away.

The room was small but cosy with air conditioning, which was very helpful this summer. The staff were friendly and the room service cleaned the room regardless of us putting the sign out on the door handle, which I'm sure some people will not like. So if you don't want anyone to come into the room, I suggest telling the staff and putting the sign on your door handle so they know.

Andrea & Staff at LRS are so nice! Truly wonderful place to stay and enjoy Rome! Rooms are spotless clean. Staff is helpful and very supportive! Next to amazing pizza! Best of everything right out your door. Excellent prompt communication! Professional and polite! What else can you ask for. BTW: if you read negative reviews or comments always remember NOT to let others and their TOXIC experiences affect YOUR Decisions! You will love it here!

Had this hotel booked for over 7 months in advance, was meant to be arriving in two weeks when I received a notification to update my card details. I did, you confirmed you were happy with this, then the next day you cancelled my booking. I thought nothing of it, that I will just go back online and rebook and pay for it in full, yet the price for the same room, same date and duration had went from £150 to £400. Seems a bit scammy to me, you cancelled the booking and within minutes the exact same booking has increased by £250. If you want the hassle of potentially having your booking cancelled a fortnight before arrival, then be my guest.

amazing room with a jacuzzi and a city view. the room is clean and quite large. as said by other reviewers, the building is a resident building, and staff is not always around, but if you need something, there is a whatsapp number to help you. the hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the Vatican and the metro to the city. Loved our stay. 5/5 would visit again when in Rome
